In addition; at the end of each month your expenses need to be sent or transmitted to our office. You may utilize the online expense sheet or use our monthly expense envelopes (see the New Client Packet) They need to contain: 1.
Settlement statements from the company you are leased

A check for the monthly accounting fee payable

The summary on the outside of the accounting envelope should contain a recap of your receipts and the number of days out overnight for the month (or submit the total online.) Each month you will receive a 2-page Financial Statement summarizing how well you are doing as an owner/operator. Your summarized envelope and receipts will be returned to you each month along with blank envelopes for future use (unless you submit online). You need to keep your envelopes, receipts, and log books for a period of 3 years in the event the IRS wants to audit your records. In addition to the standard monthly service discussed above, we provide a wide range of other services, just ask! |
